V. Shanmugam is the Managing Director of Samraj Marketing and Services Pvt Ltd. Samraj Company start as small shop of 2000sq.ft., at Chennai with small investment to sell electrical fitting and chairs. Added slowly radios, fans, mixers, irons, heaters and other household equipments.

During the initial stages the consumer durable electronics were considered luxury product and to make them reach the mass middle class families, Samraj started in-house easy monthly installments scheme. This also helped the company to increase its business and gain new customers.

By these strategic initiative for rapid expansion, by incorporating Samraj Pvt Ltd in 2015, established its dominance in the states Tamil Nadu with more than 3 showrooms covering a retail space over 2Lac sq.ft and boasting of a group turnover.
